Hi there, I’m Ericka

I'm a strong advocate for early childhood education. I've been a Kindergarten teacher, a full time staff member for an education based non profit, a curriculum resource for K12 schools, but my most important role of all,  is being a full time mom. 

 

The Gifted Hive is  for families who want to build a strong learning culture for early learners in their own homes. Our programs hyper focus on select learning goals for literacy and math mastery and make it a target to be working above grade level to build momentum in our learning. We’re practical, yet comprehensive and aim to give you all the tools you need to bring academic success right to your front door.

The Gifted Hive Method is a direct instruction approach centered around the parent being the primary teacher. This is not passive learning and this is not children creating knowledge for themselves; both are important , but in The Gifted Hive, homework is for the parents. You are your child’s first teacher and The Gifted Hive is committed to helping you feel confident in your exciting new role.
